Megan, was your heart in your mouth when you went out on the Adelaide cross country?
“Not at all, I knew he (my horse) could do the job. I changed his bit so I had control.
I had problems with the polo gag I had for the Mt.Gambier event. He kept champing on the bit and he chewed a hole in his cheek, really bad. I thought, we’ve got to fix this.
So, I put him back in a Myler bit for the Reynella event. That was awful. He still chewed on that and cut himself.
Then, I changed to the WTP 3 Ring Universal Bit which worked great.”
