Instruction Special
Could your pony club kids and parents use some help in the following areas?
- Horse float safety, float loading skills
- Controlling unruly horses from the saddle
- Handling rude, pushy horses on the ground
- Handling scary objects
- Games skills
Here is an opportunity to have some good, practicable horsemanship skills taught at your pony club. We teach natural horsemanship methods that work for pony club.
A key feature is that we advocate the use of snaffle bits and helmets. We will not send the kids on any mission to ride without a bit.
Some mistakenly believe that natural horsemanship is the sole domain of Pat Parelli but nothing could be further from the truth. We teach the John Lyons methods, which we believe are very easy to learn, effective, safe and functional for pony club.
